First Last Friday Favourites!

HELLO!
Hey all, How ya' goin',
If you hadn't noticed, there have been some reno's happening on my page, yes it does look tacky right now but hopefully it is going to look better than before =)
Also,  I came up with a catchy phrase for Fridays, that's right Last Friday Favourites, in these posts I am going to share with you all a list of my favourite foods, cosmetics, nic-nacs, pointless objects, music, movies, anything!

this week is my first edition so if you are not a fan or have another suggestion please let me know, I don't want to post things that people find boring and are uninterested in.

So a little while ago I went on a huge makeup splurge and bought some good quality stuff because my cheapies weren't doing so good. However, I have looked on my major supplier for this round, and the prices are much more than I paid. Though I did get them at a course , which probably is the big difference.

First is my Look Academy Natural Mineral Foundation SPF 15, this stuff is amazing! so smooth, easy to apply and you need hardly any to do you entire face.

My Look Academy brushes have also been fantastic,
In order from the front to the back, the front being the closest to you:
My Round Contour brush
Pro Blending Fluff
Flat Top Foundation  Buffer brush

I also purchased this Nars Lip Gloss in the shade . It is so easy to apply, smooth and the colour not too over powering. Just a gloss with a subtle pink and some shimmer.

MUSIC: this is a really tough one for me and it has been hard to choose, but would have to be Sleeping With Sirens new album MADNESS! I am in love with this, I have had it on pre-order since I found out about it and it is finally here (it's actually been about two weeks...) I have had it on replay and though it is different to there usual stuff, I like it.
I think for many people SWS or other bands similar is either you do or you don't like them. I love pretty much all music and this is no exception to me =)

Or I am also liking Sugar by Maroon 5, Love Me Like You Do by Ellie Goulding and Afire Love by Ed Sheeran.

Pointless nic-nac/object is my new dolphin toothpick dispenser, it is amazing!
The dolphin legit bends over, picks up the tooth pic and holds it for you. Plus in the bottom are little floating and moving dolphins! I believe there is no need for further explanation. It is cool.

And last but not least my Moroccanoil Restorative Hair Mask! I love this so much, it smells amazing and last for days, makes my hair smooth and shiny and so simple to use.

That is the end of this post, I hope you enjoyed it!
Do you have any of these products or any questions? If so let me know in the comments below and I'll get back to you, check back to see if I have replied as I'll try and do so ASAP.
Also did you all hear about Zayn, of course you have... It's all good Zayn :)
Have a great Day/Night,
TTFN

Literally Lost

HEY, long time no chat.
I am seriously sorry it has been over a week since my last post and only a week after i told you I was going to post twice weekly... So, I AM SORRY!!!
Any way I am here, today we had a hilarious time, I'm not sure what was funny, but I can say we had a serious case of the giggles.

It all started when we had to pick up some stuff from a hardware store. When we finally decided what we wanted and asked the people to get it for us because we couldn't, they went out the back to get one; after about a century they finally came back they told us we needed to pick it up from a warehouse out of the city a bit. "It’s called ... on ... street, number 73, and okay? Don’t forget  ... on ... street, number 73" the lady said. Sure, sounds easy enough. So off we went.
It was pouring down with rain and lighting cracked the sky into thousands of pieces, thunder was echoing and we were in an area we weren't overly familiar with. good start. As we weren't too sure about where we were going I suggested we Google it. When we went to use our phone
for a GPS mine had gone flat and my mums was left at the house ( typical)

We were driving up and down this road for a good 30-40 minutes slowly trying to see through this rain for the street numbers, specifically 73. Finally we were like, lets just ask someone because there are no numbers anywhere. We found a cafe and asked for the name of the warehouse they were like, 'uuuummmmm, does that exist?' And we were like "yes, the hardware store told us it was here, number 73" so they told us what number they were and we could find 76, so off we went.

After finding 76 we could not see a 73 but at 74 and 72. Not 73. After another long look we finally decided to go in and ask them if they knew where it was. They had no idea, so we asked the next store and by a huge coincidence a guy replied... ( no, not that we were in the place but) that he
had worked there and we we're on the wrong street.

WE WERE ON THE WRONG STREET!!!
So we checked the street the lady wrote down for us, we were on the right street to what she wrote, but it didn't exist on this street it was actually the next one over! Also we had the wrong name; we were looking for the company not the supplier. MY HIPPOPOTAMUS.

This guy gave us some directions and a real street number so we followed them and couldn't find the street number or shop name again. By this time we had completely lost it, like we were going insane. For some reason we just laughed at everything and I think I almost died because I couldn't breathe. It was actually probably a road hazard, lucky it wasn't busy... whoops.
We again found the nearest number and drove down, it was down a little side road. As we made our way in it seriously looked like we stumbled across a toxic waste and chemical dump, like there were signs everywhere and huge tanks of stuff, I don't know.

I think the people inside knew that we didn't know where we were because while we were thinking we kind of just drove up and down this road looking for any signs of hope, so a lady came outside. Meanwhile we had tears and bright red faces from laughing at stupid jokes, our misfortune, how tired we were, how much work we will be behind on when we get home and just each other really. she knocked on the window when we stopped and I tried to open it but, you know n those movies how the person opens and electric widow and it doesn't work? like they'll press the button and it doesn't work so you press it again and it starts to open but then just turns around half way through etc. and it just goes on for an awkwardly long time because all the actions are now queued.
Well, that happened to me. It was hilarious, she looked at us with real concern as we cracked up but finally we got our question through and she didn't know. She didn't know. So she went inside to ask her friend. They ended up Googling it and it turned out to be the shop next door.

The fun doesn't end here.

This is how the conversation started when we went in:
Mum- Hi is this...
Worker- It is, how can I help?
Mum- Are you Greg, I was sent here by the Hardware Shop?
Worker- No I'm Rod
Mum- She spoke to Greg and said I had to come here and pick something up.
Worker- I'm Rod.
Mum- Hi Rod, I'm looking for Greg.
Worker- No, I am Rod.
Mum- Okay, well the lady spoke to Greg.
Worker- No, she spoke to me, ROD.
Mum- oh, OOOHHHHH.

I lost the plot, I was laughing so much.

So the lady didn't even get his name right.
I hope that the lady is okay because she was very confused.
In the end we got the thing we needed and had a great laugh.

That was my day, it was fun. I hope you all had a good day or have one.
Has anyone else ever been in a situation like this? Or have another funny story?
Let me know in the comments below.

Picture Day

G'day everyone,
you know how some days you just feel terrible, want to lay in bed all day and have no responsibilities. Today has been one of those days. . Maybe I am a little tired, stressed, you may even say I need to lay off the chocolate and eat healthy. I don't know. I think this time it may be because... we were recently told we have picture day coming up; a few weeks yet. You know that lovely time of the year when everything beauty and appearance wise decides to randomly flop, going from great to terrible in a matter of seconds with in hearing the words " Picture Day".
I have no idea how to wear my hair, not meant to wear makeup; too bad, I will.
Any Ideas for a cute style for long hair?
Is it just me, or do all formal photos or special ones never turn out the way you hope, even when you think "hey, I look great today"?
If you have experienced this or experience it on a regular basis, let me know how, please.
Good sleep is great help, washing and looking after your face a little more than usual is also good. Being happy ( aka. smiling) also helps. I think it gives you a lovely natural glow :) Usually I am but I think it may have just been the reminder.

Oh well, I have some time to prepare and decide what to style myself like.
Wish me luck, have a fantastic day/night,
Mads =)

Someone Likes Reese's

Hi, my name is Mads and I am a self-confessed Reese's Chocolate addict.
I can assure you all that this is the most chocolate of this sort I have EVER had; I usually just stick to the occasional Reese's Cup, however, upon my arrival in Melbourne, a whole new door opened. A door to Hershey Heaven.

If you do not know what Reese's Chocolate is, you have not lived!

While shopping, I stumbled upon many chocolate and peanut butter iteams I did not know existed and decided to buy them for multiple reasons:
1. To make sure they all taste good.
2. To share with you all my astonishment of how many different types of Reese's products there are.
3. I know I'll like them and so will my dad.

I have not been able to finish them all yet simply due to the fact that they are really sweet after more than one, so I have to have breaks in between eating them.

In total I have located 9 different sorts of these Hershey's, Reese's Chocolates, including:
1. The Original, Milk Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups.
2. Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups.
3. White Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups.
4.Mini Milk Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups.
5.Reese's Chocolate Peanut Butter Sticks.
6.The Crispy Crunch Chocolate Peanut Butter Bar.
7. Reese's Big Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups.
8. Reese's Chocolate Peanut Butter Pieces.
9. Reese's Chocolate Peanut Butter CEREAL!

Now, the cereal. My HIPPO, it is like eating pure sugar with the occasional choc chip and peanut. not litteraly, thats just what it tastes like. If you have children who like most are already hyper, DON'T FEED THEM THIS!

Any way, do you love or hate Reese's? let me know, below.
Have a great day/night,
Mads =)

My Dorky Tourist Day =)

Hey, how's everyone doing?
Just to begin with, as you may have noticed my posts are not regular or posted in any form of organisation. In other words i need to get my schnitzels together. To do this I have decided that I am going to post on set days from now on because  don't want to spam you all one day and than not have anything to post next.

These days shall be... Sunday and Fridays. I am thinking about doing themed posts like... yeah, I'm not to sure yet to be honest because i cant think of any good catch phrases, but when I do, you'll know.
As you may have noticed, today is Friday, (unless of course you are in a different country and it is not) so it is POST DAY!!! Aren't you all excited!?!
(did anyone know that the combination of a ! and ? is called 'interrobang, just FYI; I think)

OMG! literally just thought this while typing, Factual Friday! huh?!? (interrobang) What do you think, let me know in the comments.

Now, back onto the original purpose of this blog. The other day my family and I for some unknown reason decided to go on the Double Decker Red Sight Seeing Bus, though I was pretty sure i had seen most of the sights we had been to. We went to the usual: Bondi Beach, The Opera House, Sydney Harbour Bridge. The main tourist things and it was really fun, I actually really like tours, some people especially when travelling say "Nah, don't do tours, they rush you and you don't pick exactly where to go, just go yourself. ", but honestly, I think no, you don't know exactly where you are going to go and that means you find and learn about new things you didn't know about before. Usually they have a pre-recorded and non-recorded guide that gives you all the facts about what you see, where you are and even what you don't see.
Sure there are some tours which turn out not as good as the last but that is why you should do a bit of digging before hand, see if the are any rates or recommendations on it. It is really fun to explore yourself and go it alone, I myself love to do that as well, however, a tour thrown into the mix of somewhere new is sometimes, usually a cool thing I think. Especially some thing like a Red Bus Tour where you can just hop on and off as you please.

This day, for some stupid reason, I decided to wear a skirt. Little did I know that it was a bit of a cooler day, bit of an overcast and winy as heck. My skirt wasn't just any skirt either, it was a pretty, flowing, loose SKATER SKIRT!!! I spent the entire time trying to hold down this skirt, the struggles.  When we first got on the bus i raced up stairs to save my family a seat but as soon as i took a few steps up the stairs, Vwoosh (gust of wind)  my skirt went up and my dignity went down. I almost fell down the stairs grabbing onto the end of my skirt to hold it down, it was actually quite funny to be honest. After that there weren't even any seats up the top, luckily mum checked for me just incase.

We finally arrived at the bridge as you can see...

Then closer to the Opera House got off for a photo, then a quick ferry ride around to take a look.

The next bus was a little less busy, especially down stairs so it was safe to check if there were seats available upstairs and there were, yay. I.I held my skirt down so tightly it looked like a pencil skirt, I survived. However, while sitting and admiring the pretty view, i looked ahead casually and then BAM, a smack to the face by a tree. A TREE!!! I was hit in the face by a tree, I haven't even hurt the tree and don't recall hurting any others. What did I do to want to make this tree hit my smack bang in the middle of my face. It cut me up to, I was bleeding! ( a little, like a cm gash)  but still, thanks to that when we went out for dinner i had a read face and a small cut. I think it made me look pretty tough though so yeah, whatever *brushes off shoulder*... no...

Did I mention we went to Bondi, the beach, with choppy water and stronger winds, much stronger winds, sunny, popular, you know the usual.I was even considering buying a cheap pair of ugly shorts I was that frustrated.  If I hadn't been wearing a skirt it probably would have been a much better beach day than I was perceiving it as.

see?

Than we went to Watsons Bay in the afternoon, it was so pretty! It seemed like it was about to rain the later it got but it only drizzled a few times. There was an amazingly good gelato shop on the corner of the main road, Heaven.

This is a photo I took looking over the viewing point off of Military Rd and Gap Rd, this particular photo makes it seem much darker than it was. When the sun was out every now and then temporarily, it was even more gorgeous.

The view from our hotel room was pretty luck a 180 degree view of the city and on the roof and almost 360 degree view. Each angle showing a completely different view on the city.

Thanks for reading, I hope you enjoyed;
If you have any thoughts or questions, especailly any cool catch phrases, please let me know in the comments.
Have a good (place time of day here)
Mads xx

Sea Life ADVENTURE

Hello Fantabulous People,
I have a new adventure to share with you all! recently I have been swimming with some unusual wild sea creatures consisting of Sharks, Fish, Seals and DOLPHINS!!!

It was an amazing experience and anyone thinking about dong something like this but for what ever reason are undecided, DO IT! Of course, only if you are going to do so with a licensed and registered group who are legally allowed to find and approach the dolphins and other animals. This is because where I am from there are laws and regulations that say you cannot do so without permission and a licences, and if you are caught not following this could end up with some serious fines and penalties. Think about the animals.

When we went for some reason the gorgeous, sunny and pleasant weather decided to go away for a holiday and so it was cold, stormy and windy. The water was freezing, after a while it wasn't to bad ( possibly because I couldn't feel my limbs)  but that wasn't the worst. the worst was getting out of the water with a soaking wet, wet suit to sit in the wind and cold air; I seriously think I had hypothermia( not really), I was shaking and shivering. It felt like the water in the wet suit turned into ice. they were offering free hot drinks on board, I had a few...

It was worth is though. after a few times of jumping in and out of the water at the right times and only seeing jellyfish, we finally got a face to face encounter. THEY ARE SO BIG! they swam right between us, weaving in and out of people. I think I had a stare off with one of the, we eyed each other until it faded into darkness of thew water. I cant explain it.

After we went to visit the seals, they were a bit more lazy, only a few jumped into the water; most sat up on the little house thing. It was man made but what it was called slips my mind.

That day was truly unforgettable. The next day we went swimming with some sharks, they were only small but that was in the aquarium. It was still fantastic, we were able to see all the tropical fish and reef, it all looks so different when you are actually in the water.

Please remember if you are considering doing this, do it legally.
Have a lovely day and I'll keep you all updated on my next adventures.
Thanks to you all,
Mads =)xx
