Little Shopping Spree

Since Christmas there has been heaps happening and plenty of sales everywhere. By now almost all of them have wrapped up, but I thought I would share with you a few products I lashed out on, while the sales were still around.

I got these products from Mecca Maxima because I love that shop so much; is anyone signed up for Beatyloop through Mecca? If not you should take a look on their website. Unfortunately I don't think I will be getting to level one anytime soon but I love getting updates about new makeup, deals and I would love to get the bonuses on level 3! If only mecca was my own personal makeup collection. Goal set. Can I also mention I ordered this online on a Sunday and recieved it on a Tuesday. Like the Tuesday after, IT TOOK 2 DAYS TO GET TO ME! I was amazed at how quickly Irecieved it and how cute the packahing was. Just look at this cute and stylish, pink box surrounded and filled with tissue paper. Two ticks of approval already.

So from Mecca I got a foundation, foundation pump and a sharpener. Did I mention with any order you get 3 samples of your choice of products. How great! I chose the Smashbox Photofinish Foundation Primer, Chantecaille Anti Stress Flower Harmonizing Cream ( a fancy moisturizer) and Too Faced Shadow Insurance.

The foundation I decided on was Nars Sheer Glow, I had heard so many good things bout this foundation and I totally agree. I am in love and don't know why I didn't try it earlier! It is so light but has great coverage and is buildable. It is definately my new favourite. Although it didn't have a pump so I had to get one of them, just a personal preference. I got the shade Deauville, light 4 and considering I didn't do any swatches in store because I got it online ( which I do not recommend! You should always test the colour to see if it matches your skin tone) it is a perfect match to my skin tone! I was impressed with my decision and glad I didn't go with my second choice. Pat on the back to me. The pump just makes thing so much more enjoyable too :)

The next thing I have bought since Christmas I got from Priceline; they were on sale!
I got some Real Teachniques brushes which I showed you on my Instagram! I actualy only had a few basic brushes up until now and I just can't explain how soft and lovely they are to use. I got two sets, both coming with the cute 2-in-1 case + Stand. The first being the Your Eyes/ Enhanced Starter Set; this set includes a Base Shadow Brush, Delux Crease Brush, Accent Brush, Fine Liner Brush and Brow brush.  The base shadow brush is definitely my favourite brush in this set, it is so soft, the perfect size, can be used for base shadow, contouring and blending. It is just a pleasure to use. The second set is the Your Base/ Flawless Core Collection. This set includes the Detail Brush, Pointed Foundation Brush, Buffing Brush and Contour Brush. My favourite of this set is probably the Bffing Brush, this is because it can be used to add foundation ,powder, contour, anything.

Lastly I had a quick stop at the sale bucket near the ChiChi section in Meyers. I got a new Make up Sponge, a Metalic Blue Eyeliner, a Metallic Eyeshadow Crayon Stick in Silver and the ChiChi Eye Magic Strips in Party Princess. Each item was less than $5. I love using the makeup sponge, it has a useful pointed end and rounded end and is so much cheaper then the original BeautyBlender. I got the Eye Magic Strips becasue my mum and I wanted to see how well they work, we were curious; I still haven't tried them yet though.

So that is all of the products I have bought since Christmas and so far I am loving all of it.
That is all from me at the moment. You can follow me on InstagramPinterest and Bloglovin' and
I have some AMAZINGLY EXCITING NEWS COMING SOON, so you might like to!!!
Oh, and yes my backdrop is just a blank page from my art book.
Are there any particular things you guys want me to write about?  I'm just curious. I have a few planned so far.

I hope you have a wonderful day/night..

More Maybelline Makeup

HEY ALL,
A couple of weeks ago I lased out a bit at the Maybelline Priceline 50% off sale, so I thought I should probably share with you all. I haven't done this sooner because I didn't want to bombard you with posts, so I wait until my last Friday favs were over and my travel post. Now I am late posting.
Anyway, let’s get started:

First is the Maybelline Brow Mascara in Light, I actually love this product. Brush your brows then brush this through and it’s like BAM, instantly and evenly filled. I have to say it is easier then pencil and quicker than powder for me.

Second is the Baby Skin pore Erase Primer; I cannot tell you how long I have been waiting to try this out. I love it, I had been using a primer which I thought was quite light and did a good job; Baby Skin is so much better. It is smooth, light and works well. I am happy with it.

Third is the Lash Sensation Mascara, I really needed a new mascara and I am happy with. However it can be clumpy sometimes, I use a clean wand to just brush it through a few times because my eye lashes just clump together in one spot then make it look like I have bare patches in other spots. Once brushed through looks really good though.

Fourth is the precision liner, it is so easy to use because it is just a fine texter. My liner has never been so precise and if I want a thinker line just colour it in.

Fifth is the Colour Drama lip pencils in the shade Fab Orange I had a Gatsby party and really needed a good red, this was perfect. It is a red orange, and is super smooth; it lasted most of the night too.

Sixth is this gorgeous pink lipstick from in the shade Peach Poppy, it is so smooth and creamy and is really cute. The photo does make it look darker and closer to a bright
coral rather than a soft peach.

seventh is the blush stick in the shade Pink Fever. This was actually an accident I was looking at it with the intent of putting it back because I had a fair few things already and I don't know what happened but I came home and it was in my shopping bag so... Oh well, no complaints. I really wanted to try a blush stick as I only have powder and so it worked out well.I quite enjoy it because it blends and softens really well to look natural and yeah.

That is the end of my scores at the Maybelline Priceline 50% off sale, I saved so much.
Did anyone else score some good stuff at the sale? Do you or have you owned any of these products and what did you think? Let me know in the comments below
Are there any particular things you guys want me to write about?  I'm just curious.
I hope you enjoyed and have a wonderful day/night.

Last Friday Favourites- August Edition

Hey Everyone,
I hope you are all well; I have actually pre-typed this post so that when I'm away I am able to post it on time if I have reception/internet while I'm gone. So I hope I can do so.
Can you all believe it is already the end of August? I can't and I don't know if it's a good or bad thing yet.
Anyway let's start my Last Friday Favourites of August.

1. Music Favs of the month as usual...
  • The new BADLANDS album by Halsey, I love the songs on there, she is an amazing artist
  • Cool For The Summer by Demi Lovato.
  • Hey Violets, 'I Can Feel It EP, I know this was release like a month ago, but I just got it and love it.
  • 5 Seconds of Summer- Jet Black Heart and Fly Away from their new coming album Sounds Good, Feels Good. I am looking extremely forward to this next album.

2. My new Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara, I got this from the Priceline Sale last week, it is actually one of many things I got... Maybe I'll do a makeup haul post when I get back if anyone wants and some reviews?

3. Also from this haul I finally got BABY SKIN PRIMER!!! Ahhhh I have wanted to try this for so long and have been patiently waiting for I don't even know how long.

4. Since I had such great results with the tea tree face wash for The Body Shop and it is their 25th birthday for the range, so therefore they had larger bottle sizes I went and got a bottle of the Tee Tree Facial Toner and Blemish Eraser. I can honestly say that these are some of the best face products I have used on my skin, they are working wonders.

5. Along with these products I have been using The Body Shop face buffer, it is like a light exfoliation and just makes your face feel extra clean afterwards.

I will post my travel blog post when I get home, but am still posting on Instagram while away. I can't wait to share with you all my adventures!
Have an amazing day/night

Last Friday Favourites - July Edition

HELLO ALL THE WONDERFUL PEOPLE READING THIS!
YOU ARE AMAZING, BECAUSE YOU ARE YOU!!!
I just thought I would remind you all of this.

And yes, you are right. Today is actually Saturday, the first of August, however I was extremely busy yesterday and therefore not able to write up Last Friday Favourites - July Edition.
So, lets get to it.

Number 1: So this month there has been some great music released, so I am going to share a list of my absolute favs and others songs I have dug up.

  1. 'She's Kinda Hot' by 5sos, now if you haven't heard this song listen to it. It is different to their other stuff, but is leaning to other bands which I love and I'm pretty sure it is because they have been writing with them.
  2. Like I'm Gonna Loose You ft. John Legend by Megan Trainor. A great song.
  3. Adam Lambert, 'Ghost Town' form his new album.
  4. 'Drag Me Down' by One Direction, this surprise song was only released yesterday and I can't deny I love it.
  5. Forbidden Envy have released a new song called 'End Of Time'. These guys are an  Aussie alternative rock band and are pretty cool, you should check 'em out.

Second for this month would definitely be my Body Shop, Tea Tree Skin Clearing Face Cleanser, it not only freshens, cleans and reduces excess oil, but is a anti bacterial so it clears up most blemishes and reduces breakouts. It isn't harsh on the skin and after a few days of use I could already see a huge difference. I have been using it for over a month, my face is looking clearer and brighter, i have also had far fewer breakouts.
there is a foaming wash available as well, which I am told is exactly the same formula.

Third is another cosmetic, NSPA Peach Shower and Bath Gel. I have mentioned this brand before in a previous Last Friday Favourite, were I talked about their coconut scrub and how I wanted to purchase the Peach Shower Gel, I made a good choice. It is just as great, it smells amazing, includes natural vitamins and it just makes you happy.

Forth is Blu Tack, I have recently used so much blu tack to stick some photos up and I just thought I would let it know its appreciated it.

Five is pumpkin pie. It is amazing and if you have never tried it before I suggest you do.

Thank you all so much
I hope you enjoyed it. If you have or want to get any of these products let me know in the comments below.

Aria Argan Gold Review

G'day,
How is everyone? Today I thought I might do my first product review, so I guess we will see how we go...

Recently I received the Aria Argan Gold Gift pack from my Nans and I am kind of in love with the products included. There is a 240ml Bottle of Shampoo, 240ml bottle of conditioner and a 15ml Oil Treatment. I am pretty sure that Argan is Argon; so if anyone thinks I am just messing it up, I swear that is what it is called and how it is written on the bottles.

Lately there has been so much talk on Argon oil and the benefits it has on your hair, I have been excited to get some to give a go. However, I personally have seen some crazily priced items so this is a fantastic gift; thank you Nans! As this was a gift I am not sure exactly how much it costs but I am thinking it probably wasn't $5.

The shampoo and conditioner is designed for Damaged, Dry - Frizzy, Straitened or Hair Extensions; it contains vitamins and some anti-oxidants to re-hydrate and help repair hair. It is a real help for me, my hair has been in some trouble lately, dry and frizzy but this has made it much easier to control and really smooth.
It smells fantastic; like, so good. Your hair stays smelling great for days,

The Oil is just as good when it comes to smell (which I think really matters). It is absorbed by the hair really quickly to reduce frizz, to hydrate the hair and protect hair from environments. your hair becomes smooth silky and shiny and then you can just style it as usual. It can be used as a treatment  if you apply and message in, then leave an hour and wash it out with shampoo and conditioner. Or it can also be used as a body moistriser! All you need to do is warm in hands and then rub it in. I think that's pretty cool.

the Packaging is cute and simple, there are different designs depending on the hair type; for example mine is for medium-thick hair and my relative got a thin hair package which looked different but smelt just as good. There is a cute gold bow in the corner so give it as a gift.

Over all it is totally cute and I think it is pretty good =)
It  does all that it specifies and my hair is doing great. All of the info is on the packaging and they have a website if you are curious, which I actually need to check out.
Hope you enjoyed this and if you like it or would like me to do another just let me know in the comments below.
Thanks a lot, have a great day or night.
Also, have a Happy Easter, may your morning be filled with chocolates and egg hunting!
