Last Friday Favourites - JUNE

HI,
Today is Monday but I accidentally forgot to post on Friday because I did a catch up post and was nominated for the Versatile Blogger Award and posted that on the day ( In which I mentioned how State Champs liked my post... Yeah, I'm still not over that), so... Here is Last Friday Favourites of June on a  Monday!
Oh, P.S. Yes, I know my lighting is terrible.

First:
My new random Huge Cup from Movie World, I was meant to be able to get free refills with it and I was like YES! Then I didn't finish it until the end of the day, when we were about to leave and the stall had closed by then  :( At least I got to keep the cup.

Second, Music; Little Sea's new EP 'With You, Without You', this actually only came out like 2 days ago but I already love it. State Champs music, I liked them before but after hearing them live they are even better and 5sos's new song Permanent Vacation.

Third: This cute charger I had to buy while I was away because I was smart and left mine at home. You  can change the adapter and each end is magnetic, so you can hang it off things. Also lets appreciate the cute colour and pattern. it was Originally $20 and I was like 'put down carefully, do not drop or break...' but then I saw another with a sale sticker, and another, and another... so I got the price checked and it was like $5 or something.

Fourth: This Giant hand which I got from the concert because who doesn't need one? I mean they have so many uses:

  • Use as a pillow
  • Look at and reminisce the event
  • Display
  • Use as a hat
  • Try and reach something ( As it adds about 20 cm onto the length of you arm it may make you tall enough to reach something, you can t actually move the fingers  get what you needed, I find just pushing the said object off and use the cushioning of the hand to catch it)
  • Get people attention
  • Etc.

Fifth: Thais handbag sized Diary/planner thing, I decided a while ago it would probably help if I was organised so I have been looking for one but they have either been way to over priced, too big or not the best looking/condition. As it is half way through the year this was on sale for a grand total of $2 at Typo, is in a cute light blue colour and a convenient size.

Now hopefully my post will be somewhat planned and organised as well as my life. So, that should be good.

That is the end Of Last Friday Favourites of June on a Monday, hope you enjoyed.
What is your current favourite music? Let me know in the comments below :)
Have a wonderful day/night

Versatile Blogger Award

Hi Lovely People,
I hope you are well.
So, guess what. As most of you should know by now, I recently got an Instagram page and I have about 10 followers on there; through this I have found that  posts about 5 Seconds of Summer and Chihuahua pups are most popular to get people who are not following you to look at your page, which I found interesting and... STATE CHAMPS LIKED MY POST!!! I kind of had a fangirl moment and so I had to share it with you all :)

Anyway, back onto the original topic.
The other day I was nominated by the lovely Martha Bowen from She Said and Leonni from Leonni's Little Blog to do the Versatile Blogger Award :) So today I am going to do that...

2. Include a link to their blog
3. Select 15 bloggers to pass the award on to
4. Share 7 facts about yourself
 and Tah Dah, your done!

The Blogs I Nominate Are:

My 7 Facts:

5 SECONDS OF SUMMER

Hello Everybody,
How are you all goin'? Yes, I am back!!!
So if you follow me on Instagram, you would notice I didn't post that much over the past week, sorry about that, I was planning too. I didn't even say where I was because I thought I mentioned that in my last post (I didn't and am sorry, you may have been a bit confused...). Anyway, I was in Brisbane to visit a friend and see 5 SECONDS OF SUMMER and STATE CHAMPS!!!

It was an amazing show and great holiday, so obviously this post is going to be about the trip.

So I flew down in the early morning of Thursday  to Brisbane and from there went straight to the Gold Coast, that day we didn't do much, walked around and explored. The next day we went to Movie World, we went on almost every ride except the huge Green Lantern and Batman rides because they were closed that day. When we were about to go on the superman, literally next in line (After waiting over half an hour) there was a "technical difficulty" so it was closed, it was so frustrating. The people that were on it before were okay though, so it was all good.
Did another loop of the rides and eventually came back and it was working so we lined up again, we got to actually go on this time. My goodness, it was so fun and scary and every other word you can use to describe a roller coaster. I'm glad I ended up going on it.
Besides the Superman ride, most lines were short and we were almost able to walk strait or not wait very long.

The day after we went to Bounce, I think I mentioned this place in another post. It is a huge building just filled with trampolines and giant pillows and cool things so you can do tricks. It is heaps of fun, even if you like me and the best trick you can do is jump high and then land on the tramp sitting down, then jump back up. It doesn't matter your skill level, I totally recommend going. We went shopping after this because you pay by the hour.

We went to Time Zone, an arcade, one of the days and it is so much fun. You pay your choice of money for as card which gives you points and keeps your tickets. some games you can play as much as you want and others there is a limit. You can also get access to Laser Skirmish, Dodgem Cars, Mini Golf, Simulators, etc. Then at the end you count you tickets and trade it in for some prizes, I got a small basketball, a world stress ball and a marble. After this we went to Infinite, I sort of maze thing, I don't really know how to describe it. You go through a set of themed rooms and have to find the door, there are no normal lights if there are lights at all, do not go in if you a claustrophobic or scared of the dark. its heaps of fun though. To finish the day we walked around, looked at some shops and walked past the beach (It was far too cold to go for a swim though)

One night we decided to go to a drive in movie, so much fun. It was freezing though and we spilt lollies through the car...

We got to Brisbane for the concert a few days earlier, explored/walked around and went through the shopping centre. Though, surprising me too, I bought a shirt, a few souvenirs and food throughout the whole trip. Go me :)

The night of the concert we were so excited, for both 5 Seconds of Summer and State Champs, when I heard they were the opening act I was so happy. Go 5sos, good choice. They both bands played amazingly, it was the most AMAZING night ever. Before the concert the crowd started a Mexican Wave, so that was pretty cool.  They played their new song 'Permanent Vacation'; I am so excited for their new album, which they said was coming out this year. This was the loudest crowd I have ever heard, when they said it was their last song, I couldn't even hear my own thoughts and during the encore it became even louder and by far was the best part of the entire show. It was truly fantastic.

However, my phones camera decided to pack it in, it still takes photos but the quality is now terrible, it is really old now though so it was bound to happen sooner or later. So, I ended up taking my old digital camera, which didn't have the best quality either, but hey, it was better than my phone. When I used I think it took people a while to figure out what it was because who uses a little digital camera anymore. Oh well, I still use him, especially when camping.

So overall it was a great time, I hope you enjoyed this post.
If you like 5 Seconds of Summer or State Champs or have been to one of their concerts let me know what you thought in the comments :)
Once again check out my Instagram and Pinterest, I think 10 of you have found me on both, which is great. Also there are 235 of you amazing people on Bloglovin' which is AMAZING,
THANK YOU!!!
Have a fantastic day/night

Last Friday Favourites- May

G'day!
having a good day? I hope so.
So, as you would know, today is not Friday, nor getting close to the end of the month and it isn't May. However, I have been so busy lately and have not been able to post and one regular post I have missed is the May edition of Last Friday Favourits. So I am doing it today, now lets get started.

1st of all: This month I was given a brush set by a friend and am in LOVE with them. I swear the blush brush is the softest I have ever used. This pack is called the Ecotools Brush starter kit, though I do already have brushes these are amazing. It comes with a blush ( I have been wanting a new one desperately and almost bought the day before, lucky I didn't), concealer, eye shadow and angled liner brushes as well as a brow and lash comb. It even labes them on the bottom so if you are a beginner you don't get mixed up.

The handle is made out of recycled material such as bamboo, metal, etc. and it all comes in a small and convenient 2 section cosmetic pouch. I would easily recommend them to any beginner or experienced with makeup person  as they are good quality, soft, conveniently labelled, comes with a cute storage pouch and include the basic first needed brushes.
Thank you so much my friend.

2nd. Music of the month would be London Lights by With Confidence, a small Aussie band I discovered on YouTube just before this song came out (which was in April). I was listening to this swong all through May.
Also, See You Again by Wiz Khalifa, feat. Charlie Puth. I would be surprised if you haven't heard this song.

3, OMG I have discovered this brand called Nspa and love it so much. I have purchased the coconut scrub and next on my list is the peach body wash.

4. I LOVE tea and recently I have found Chamomile and spiced Apple. It is an amazing relaxing tea, especially when it has been a long day. It is a sweeter tea and depending on how I am feeling sometimes a little honey is great.

5 To go with this great tea, I recently bought this cool mug, look at it. Isn't it cute and funny! It is from Target if you were wondering.

So that's it guys, hope you enjoyed it. If you have or want to get any of these products let me know in the comments below.
I am also startting an Instagram account to share pics and updates easily and a Pinterest account, visit this LINK for instagram and this LINK for Pinterest ?
I almost forgot, I have some news...
Next week I am going on a trip, so yes that does mean I won't be able to post here but I will try to post on my new social medias.
Finally, I have 225 followers on Bloglovin'. Thank you so much everyone, it really means a lot!
Have a lovely day/night!

Laughing, Minions & Mums

HELLO ALL,
How is everyone today? I hope your answer is 'Good!'
Guess what? I have 162 followers on Bloglovin'!!!
I can't believe that there are 160 people who are finding my random posts interesting in some way, it really means a lot and I certainly wasn't expecting it. THANK YOU.
If you aren't and would like to follow me, click this Link, or find my Eiffel Tower widget doobalacky in the side bar for another link :)

So onto this week's topic: Laughing, Minions and Mums.

As many of you would know, last Sunday was a special day for all of those wonderful ladies who have children. It was Mother Day! So, happy Mother's Day Mum.

I was at the Queen Vic Markets and there were these gorgeous flowers in these little pots covering a table and I thought 'Wow, these are gorgeous!', turns out they were all soap carved into flowers so they smelt good too. I ended up deciding to get an orchid for my mother.

After mother's day this week my family and I went to a presentation and it was just quieting down, about to start and stupidly before that my mum and I were cracking terrible jokes, like the worst ever... Anyway, just before it went completely silent I made the absolute worst joke out there that was so bad it was funny, actually hilarious. I don't even remember what it was now, but we couldn't forget it throughout the whole presentation. We laughed, then giggled, and you know how you try not to laugh when you really need to, so it gets louder and more funny? Well that happened, we started quietly laughing at each other trying not to laugh. It resulted in us apologising and after that we calmed down. I am so sorry for the other people there and the speaker, I felt so bad once we calmed down; we did get through the whole presentation though without leaving.

The next day I came home and I had these...

That is correct. The cutest little Tic Tacs you have ever seen. Minions, I have the Kevin box. I think that these are everywhere but just in case , Tic Tacs are mints. Actually, these limited edition ones go with the minion theme and  taste like banana lollies. Did anyone else know that these where out there? I didn't. Look, they even have clothes and faces. Awesome. Beware though, do not chew them, unless, you really like strong lolly flavours.

Has anyone else tried them? let me know what you think of this limited edition cuteness.

I hope you all have an amazing day/night.

Attempting Marshmallow Bar Things...

Hi, how are you all?
Today I had some marshmallows in my cupboard and I was like hmmmm... I saw a fun looking rice bubble bar with this stuff on the internet, and therefore decided I would make some.
however I didn't really think through it as well as I should have.

This was the end result.

This is a very informal and not the most accurate recipe so I warn you if you ever decide to follow, I think I was just lucky. Do feel welcome to learn from my mistakes while making this though.
Equipment and Ingredients:
  •  marshmallows
  • Rice Bubbles
  • A Saucepan
  • A medium Bowl
  • A Spatula
  • A tray
  • Baking Paper
First of all I placed my marshmallows into the saucepan, put that on the stove on medium heat to melt.
Second I grabbed out my rice bubbles. It turns out I currently dont have any rice bubbles...                So cornflakes and musile it was!

In a bowl I placed some cornflakes for my first batch ( notice how I also didn't measure anything? yeah, I was winging it and that was a stupid mistake) then checked back on my marshmallows.

The marshmallows seriously had done nothing, they were in perfect shape. I stired it a littles and they just bounced around instead of melting. Out of inpatients I turned the heat up and set up my tray.

To set up my tray I Just sprayed it so the  baking paper would stick and then lined it with the baking paper. Done. or so I thought.

When I checked the the marshmallow this time they had started to melt and when I mixed it, It looked weird. Lumps, stringy sugar bits, pink and white sticky slime.

I don't know but it didn't seem melted so I just left it to melt by itself a little longer.

I came back to a slight sweet toasting smell, which reminded me of camping, so it was okay until I realised it was my precious marshmallows. The bottom wasn't burnt but browned. I decided it was time to pour it into my cornflakes (again not measuring).

It is the hardest thing to mix, it just makes a mess and then takes ages to coat everything. Then it goes into a huge clump and sticks to the side of the bowl and the spatula. So frustrating.

Eventually I put it in the pan but it wasn't very much so it took up about half the space. Trying t spread it was a nightmare, I found using your hands heaps easier, you just have to wet themn a little first otherwise it will stick to your hands too.

I then sprinkled some sprinkles on top because they are amazing and then put it in the fridge.

For my second batch I used some musile and chocolate chips, using my great instincts ( not) I just put random amounts in. Then the marshmallow, stirred, put in tray, sprinkles and fridge. What I wasn't expecting was my mixture to go a dark brown weird colour thanks to my chocolate chips because they were meant to be baking chips that hold their shape. Disappointment.

I had some marshmallow left, so I decided to make some more cornflake ones, these had a much larger marshmallow to cornflake ratio and was harder to work with because the marshmallows where cooling.

Too make troubles worse I was reminded that the baking paper didn't work very well and the bars were sticking to it so I took them off and sprayed a new piece of paper then put them back on.

To finish put them on a chopping board with a knife dusted in icing sugar so they didn't stick and cut the edges off because they weren't the best looking. I even cut out some love hearts with cookie cutters (with great difficulty)  because they were cute. In the end they didn't turn out as bad as I had expected, they are very sweet of course but I suggest you have a go.

It turns out I ended up using: A saucepan

  • A spatula
  • A bag of marshmallows
  • An unknown amount of cornflakes
  • An unknown amount of musile
  • Some chocolate, not so shape holding, chips
  • A chopping board
  • A bowl
  • Sprinkles
  • A cookie cutter'
  • Icing sugar
  • Chopping board and knife.
  • Baking paper
  • Spray oil
So the moral of the story I guess is to research and maybe make a plan before hand, however they didn't turn out that bad.

Hope you enjoyed and if you have ever made these or want to, let me know in the comments below.

Last Friday Favourites, April!

HELLO!!!
first of all, long time no post. I am so sorry. I have an excuse, don't worry; you ready to read it... My computer broke... It actually did, I was freaking out because I was like oh no, my assignment is due in two days! Legit was so scared. Yes, I probably could have done it on my phone, however, that takes a lot  strugglig and effort; usually resulting in little result and a lot of frustration and anger. Anyhow, the computer is now in good enough condition to complete Last Friday Favourites! April edition! yay.

This month includes:

This gorgeous and amazing Leather Fitted Jacket from the QV Markets actually. It was an investment but its getting a little cool ( I'm cold) and I have been wanting a new one for so long now. Lets just say my old one has been worn One too many times.

SECOND: My most recent beauty purchase would be my Revlon, Colour Stay, Browmaker; in the #02 Light Brown. I am actually quite impressed with this product, it is really easy to use and has good results so far. which I did mention in my Liebster Award #2 Post, check it out if you missed it.

Also in beauty my, Baby Lips. I know it is quite old and I have had them before but I am going back to keeping it in my handbag to take with me everywhere. It is easy to apply, moistrises, SPF, tints and smells good. My latest is the ..., I am not a huge fan of the orange scent in this (never a huge fan of orange and should have paid more attention to the fact it was) but the colour isn't overly powerful, my lips go a cute peach colour.

I hope  everyone is enjoying the new Future Hearts album, by All Time Low, released on the 7th of this month. I am pretty in love with it. Especially 'Kids In the Dark','Dancing With A Wolf' and 'The Edge of Tonight'.

So, I have recently discovered this amazing invention called Instant Nail Polish Dry, by Natural Look Australia. It is a spray which instantly dries the surface of you nail polish, moisturises nails, cuticles and skin with vitamin E. This is particularly fantasticly amazing for me as I somehow stuff up my nails just by breathing; I legit will not (that I ever remember) touch anything and my nails will stuff up. Usually.

Another nail product to help with my clumsiness is the Cutex Quick Dry Top Coat- Rapid Colour Lock. 60 seconds and BAM, dry. Its very helpful but even then I may still need some spray. I know, that's bad...

So that is all for this post I think, I hope you enjoyed!
Doesn't my background of the photos look like weird, soft, fluffy grass?
Do you have any of these items? let me know what you think about them in the comments :)
Have a lovely day/night
