Little Shopping Spree

Since Christmas there has been heaps happening and plenty of sales everywhere. By now almost all of them have wrapped up, but I thought I would share with you a few products I lashed out on, while the sales were still around.

I got these products from Mecca Maxima because I love that shop so much; is anyone signed up for Beatyloop through Mecca? If not you should take a look on their website. Unfortunately I don't think I will be getting to level one anytime soon but I love getting updates about new makeup, deals and I would love to get the bonuses on level 3! If only mecca was my own personal makeup collection. Goal set. Can I also mention I ordered this online on a Sunday and recieved it on a Tuesday. Like the Tuesday after, IT TOOK 2 DAYS TO GET TO ME! I was amazed at how quickly Irecieved it and how cute the packahing was. Just look at this cute and stylish, pink box surrounded and filled with tissue paper. Two ticks of approval already.

So from Mecca I got a foundation, foundation pump and a sharpener. Did I mention with any order you get 3 samples of your choice of products. How great! I chose the Smashbox Photofinish Foundation Primer, Chantecaille Anti Stress Flower Harmonizing Cream ( a fancy moisturizer) and Too Faced Shadow Insurance.

The foundation I decided on was Nars Sheer Glow, I had heard so many good things bout this foundation and I totally agree. I am in love and don't know why I didn't try it earlier! It is so light but has great coverage and is buildable. It is definately my new favourite. Although it didn't have a pump so I had to get one of them, just a personal preference. I got the shade Deauville, light 4 and considering I didn't do any swatches in store because I got it online ( which I do not recommend! You should always test the colour to see if it matches your skin tone) it is a perfect match to my skin tone! I was impressed with my decision and glad I didn't go with my second choice. Pat on the back to me. The pump just makes thing so much more enjoyable too :)

The next thing I have bought since Christmas I got from Priceline; they were on sale!
I got some Real Teachniques brushes which I showed you on my Instagram! I actualy only had a few basic brushes up until now and I just can't explain how soft and lovely they are to use. I got two sets, both coming with the cute 2-in-1 case + Stand. The first being the Your Eyes/ Enhanced Starter Set; this set includes a Base Shadow Brush, Delux Crease Brush, Accent Brush, Fine Liner Brush and Brow brush.  The base shadow brush is definitely my favourite brush in this set, it is so soft, the perfect size, can be used for base shadow, contouring and blending. It is just a pleasure to use. The second set is the Your Base/ Flawless Core Collection. This set includes the Detail Brush, Pointed Foundation Brush, Buffing Brush and Contour Brush. My favourite of this set is probably the Bffing Brush, this is because it can be used to add foundation ,powder, contour, anything.

Lastly I had a quick stop at the sale bucket near the ChiChi section in Meyers. I got a new Make up Sponge, a Metalic Blue Eyeliner, a Metallic Eyeshadow Crayon Stick in Silver and the ChiChi Eye Magic Strips in Party Princess. Each item was less than $5. I love using the makeup sponge, it has a useful pointed end and rounded end and is so much cheaper then the original BeautyBlender. I got the Eye Magic Strips becasue my mum and I wanted to see how well they work, we were curious; I still haven't tried them yet though.

So that is all of the products I have bought since Christmas and so far I am loving all of it.
That is all from me at the moment. You can follow me on InstagramPinterest and Bloglovin' and

Literally Lost

HEY, long time no chat.
I am seriously sorry it has been over a week since my last post and only a week after i told you I was going to post twice weekly... So, I AM SORRY!!!
Any way I am here, today we had a hilarious time, I'm not sure what was funny, but I can say we had a serious case of the giggles.

It all started when we had to pick up some stuff from a hardware store. When we finally decided what we wanted and asked the people to get it for us because we couldn't, they went out the back to get one; after about a century they finally came back they told us we needed to pick it up from a warehouse out of the city a bit. "It’s called ... on ... street, number 73, and okay? Don’t forget  ... on ... street, number 73" the lady said. Sure, sounds easy enough. So off we went.
It was pouring down with rain and lighting cracked the sky into thousands of pieces, thunder was echoing and we were in an area we weren't overly familiar with. good start. As we weren't too sure about where we were going I suggested we Google it. When we went to use our phone
for a GPS mine had gone flat and my mums was left at the house ( typical)

We were driving up and down this road for a good 30-40 minutes slowly trying to see through this rain for the street numbers, specifically 73. Finally we were like, lets just ask someone because there are no numbers anywhere. We found a cafe and asked for the name of the warehouse they were like, 'uuuummmmm, does that exist?' And we were like "yes, the hardware store told us it was here, number 73" so they told us what number they were and we could find 76, so off we went.

After finding 76 we could not see a 73 but at 74 and 72. Not 73. After another long look we finally decided to go in and ask them if they knew where it was. They had no idea, so we asked the next store and by a huge coincidence a guy replied... ( no, not that we were in the place but) that he
had worked there and we we're on the wrong street.

WE WERE ON THE WRONG STREET!!!
So we checked the street the lady wrote down for us, we were on the right street to what she wrote, but it didn't exist on this street it was actually the next one over! Also we had the wrong name; we were looking for the company not the supplier. MY HIPPOPOTAMUS.

This guy gave us some directions and a real street number so we followed them and couldn't find the street number or shop name again. By this time we had completely lost it, like we were going insane. For some reason we just laughed at everything and I think I almost died because I couldn't breathe. It was actually probably a road hazard, lucky it wasn't busy... whoops.
We again found the nearest number and drove down, it was down a little side road. As we made our way in it seriously looked like we stumbled across a toxic waste and chemical dump, like there were signs everywhere and huge tanks of stuff, I don't know.

I think the people inside knew that we didn't know where we were because while we were thinking we kind of just drove up and down this road looking for any signs of hope, so a lady came outside. Meanwhile we had tears and bright red faces from laughing at stupid jokes, our misfortune, how tired we were, how much work we will be behind on when we get home and just each other really. she knocked on the window when we stopped and I tried to open it but, you know n those movies how the person opens and electric widow and it doesn't work? like they'll press the button and it doesn't work so you press it again and it starts to open but then just turns around half way through etc. and it just goes on for an awkwardly long time because all the actions are now queued.
Well, that happened to me. It was hilarious, she looked at us with real concern as we cracked up but finally we got our question through and she didn't know. She didn't know. So she went inside to ask her friend. They ended up Googling it and it turned out to be the shop next door.

The fun doesn't end here.

This is how the conversation started when we went in:
Mum- Hi is this...
Worker- It is, how can I help?
Mum- Are you Greg, I was sent here by the Hardware Shop?
Worker- No I'm Rod
Mum- She spoke to Greg and said I had to come here and pick something up.
Worker- I'm Rod.
Mum- Hi Rod, I'm looking for Greg.
Worker- No, I am Rod.
Mum- Okay, well the lady spoke to Greg.
Worker- No, she spoke to me, ROD.
Mum- oh, OOOHHHHH.

I lost the plot, I was laughing so much.

So the lady didn't even get his name right.
I hope that the lady is okay because she was very confused.
In the end we got the thing we needed and had a great laugh.

That was my day, it was fun. I hope you all had a good day or have one.
Has anyone else ever been in a situation like this? Or have another funny story?
Let me know in the comments below.

Someone Likes Reese's

Hi, my name is Mads and I am a self-confessed Reese's Chocolate addict.
I can assure you all that this is the most chocolate of this sort I have EVER had; I usually just stick to the occasional Reese's Cup, however, upon my arrival in Melbourne, a whole new door opened. A door to Hershey Heaven.

If you do not know what Reese's Chocolate is, you have not lived!

While shopping, I stumbled upon many chocolate and peanut butter iteams I did not know existed and decided to buy them for multiple reasons:
1. To make sure they all taste good.
2. To share with you all my astonishment of how many different types of Reese's products there are.
3. I know I'll like them and so will my dad.

I have not been able to finish them all yet simply due to the fact that they are really sweet after more than one, so I have to have breaks in between eating them.

In total I have located 9 different sorts of these Hershey's, Reese's Chocolates, including:
1. The Original, Milk Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups.
2. Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups.
3. White Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups.
4.Mini Milk Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups.
5.Reese's Chocolate Peanut Butter Sticks.
6.The Crispy Crunch Chocolate Peanut Butter Bar.
7. Reese's Big Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups.
8. Reese's Chocolate Peanut Butter Pieces.
9. Reese's Chocolate Peanut Butter CEREAL!

Now, the cereal. My HIPPO, it is like eating pure sugar with the occasional choc chip and peanut. not litteraly, thats just what it tastes like. If you have children who like most are already hyper, DON'T FEED THEM THIS!

Any way, do you love or hate Reese's? let me know, below.
Have a great day/night,
Mads =)
